Heavy Metal Records: Established in 1978, England’s Heavy Metal Records was integral to the NWOBHM, giving exposure to the bands of the time. Unlike other labels associated with the NWOBHM, Heavy Metal Records is still active. Their artist roster included, at various times, Witchfinder General, Bitches Sin, Buffalo, Split Beaver, Germany’s Accept, Soldier, and several others.
